Yuxuan Liang
Assistant Professor, HKUST(GZ)
Dr. Yuxuan Liang is working on the research, development, and innovation of spatio-temporal data mining and AI, with a broad range of applications in smart cities. He obtained his PhD degree from School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He has published 90+ papers in refereed journals (e.g., TPAMI, AI, TKDE, TNNLS, TMC) and conferences (e.g., KDD, NeurIPS, ICLR, WWW, ECCV, IJCAI, AAAI, and MM), amassing 4,300+ citations on Google Scholar, with an h-index of 33 and i10-index of 57. Among them, three papers were selected as the most influential IJCAI/KDD papers via PaperDigest. He has served as a program committee member of top conferences, such as KDD, ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, WWW, CVPR, and ICCV. He also had three-year industrial experience in Microsoft, JD.COM, and Sea AI Lab, He was recognized as 1 of the 10 most innovative and impactful Ph.D. students focusing on Data Science in Singapore by the Singapore Data Science Consortium (SDSC) in 2020.
